Empowering Youth Leadership through Diplomacy and Global Affairs

Connecting young American Leaders to the World through Global Affairs and Diplomacy
Preparing the next generation of leaders, scholars, and decision-makers to thrive in a complex and rapidly changing world – where our national interests are intertwined with the global community – is one of the greatest challenges facing our country. It requires a renewed enthusiasm for global studies in our high schools and colleges. Too many American students today fall behind their counterparts from other countries in their knowledge and understanding of world history, geography, and current international events. The mission of the World Council for Youth and Diplomacy is to broaden students’ global horizons through educational programs.
95% of the world’s population and 85% of global economic growth is outside of the United States. 18% of US nationals are foreign-born. Help the Council to prepare American youth – the next generation of political, cultural, and economic leaders – for success in an increasingly international workforce.

WE FORGE LEADERS!
Coordination of our network of Ambassadors is the glue that holds the Community together and the linchpin between the World Council for Youth and Diplomacy team based in New York and the hundreds of Ambassadors worldwide. They work to sustain momentum after each initiative by organising events and training, tracking the impact of individual Ambassadors and making useful connections between them.

Education is the most powerful weapon
which you can use to change the world.
